In continued celebration of Women’s Month, Xilium once again joins the University of San Agustin in the second installment of Babaye, Bulahan Ka! (Woman, You Are Blessed!): An Art and Photo Exhibit. Four days from the launch of the first art fair, this occasion is set in The Shops at Atria in Iloilo City, Philippines last 12 March 2019. This marks the halfway point of the month-long activities planned out by Batch 2018 of the University of San Agustin College of Law.
This time, we join the festivity by launching a recruitment caravan. As one of the sponsors of the month-long events, the activity evidences the will to contribute to positive social change. Understanding the plight of women in the private business sector, the company saw this opportunity to give back to the community by opening employment opportunities prioritizing women.
The event is likewise joined by various women’s rights groups, governmental agencies and NGOs, and businesses committed to the cause of women empowerment. More than just building bridges, the proceeds of these events go to the children’s orphanages in Iloilo.
Writing should be one part informative and one part entertaining. It's what differentiates a generic piece of text from a well-written article. Rey Palmares dedicates much of his time to fine-tune that craft, juggling the joys and frustrations of writing with those of his law school life outside of the office. He's making it work so far.
