We made our way back to Washington, DC for DDW 2024 with a larger team, a wider booth space, and a pop-up espresso station with our own barista.

Our team included Vanessa, our CEO; Juvy, our VP of Sales and Marketing; Alexa, our Nursing Director; VMAs Nadine and Aljane, with some traveling to the US for the first time. Jen and Rau from Sales rounded out the team.

Coffee Chats

We brought a barista along to prepare fresh espresso, which proved to be excellent conversation starters and helped build connections through relaxed coffee chats. The local chocolates were a hit too—what's better for connecting than coffee and chocolate snacks?

During the three-day event, we engaged with different healthcare and business professionals, including professors, doctors, practice administrators, finance directors, and future practice owners. We discussed challenges like staff turnover, scribing, and scheduling, and how virtual medical assistants support these functions. We gained valuable insights, particularly around the needs and challenges of gastro doctors. The event allowed us to interact in different capacities, from operational discussions to understanding clinical support needs. We also connected with fellow exhibitors, making it fun to listen to different stories and share our own experiences.

Looking Ahead

Our participation in DDW 2024 reinforced the importance of personal interaction and tailored solutions in the medical field. We gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by gastro practices. From the stories shared, we gained invaluable insights and saw it as a learning opportunity for us to innovate.
