Getting the job done is always the priority. How do you set up people working from home without them ditching the main structure you rely on for security. Many places I worked had a silo for security with no mind to productivity. I am guilty of past transgressions in the name of delivery.

The solution is to design and assign value to the elemental pieces so you can know the impact to projects. Integrate the teams’ technical leaders so systems can account for their needs. Like any other project that weighs different priorities, integrate WFH security into the user case analysis.
