Japan is the oldest country in the world by population age. 28% of the population is 65 or older. Supporting them requires a level of attention to their needs that are not met by technology. We take for granted how to use and live with the latest technology, but many older people stopped their progression decades ago. Putting essential services on a smartphone or computer puts them out of reach. In the US, we will need to develop programs to bring older people along.
