I’ll say that this particular Amazon product is a privacy nightmare. But what I’m interested in is the tech it shows us that will be available in service to seniors and the family that cares about them. America had a lonely senior population problem—not all but a significant number. This leads to depression and isolation.
I’ve been working with activity watches to find ways to improve seniors’ lives. This tech is another way to extend into their living space and be more aware and helpful. The model needs to be modified for better privacy and protection but the ability to improve lives is there.
