I like this article because it doesn’t just give a list of current random devices that are privacy unsafe. Mozilla is a long standing good citizen of privacy. They discuss a philosophy of companies and how to view them from a trustworthiness perspective. 

A thing to note is that any individual device can adhere to good privacy and later an unseen update turns it into a problem.
